Production

The production capacity of the Coca-Cola plant in Moscow is designed for bottling drinks. The concentrate, the formula of which is kept under seven seals, is not made in Russia (only 5 enterprises produce it in the world).

The technical process begins in the water treatment shop, where ordinary tap water passes through a multi-level filter system. Output quality is controlled by automatic machines.

In the blowing installation, small preform flasks under pressure reaching 40 atmospheres and at a temperature of 240 o C are transformed into finished plastic bottles of a given volume. Moreover, from the same preform they can blow out both two-liter and half-liter plastic containers.

The main action takes place in the sterile blending department. Here, prepared water, concentrate and syrup are mixed in specified proportions. 1 liter of concentrate is enough to produce more than 6 liters of finished drink. This is where carbon dioxide saturation occurs.

The “endless procession” of bottles then proceeds to the bottling, labeling and packaging lines. The containers with drinks are sent to a huge warehouse, from where products from the Coca-Cola plant in Moscow are distributed throughout all Russian regions.

At first glance, the production seems straightforward.
